The metal stator with uniform wall thickness is formed by a special one-step process with high precision by removing the rubber lining on the basis of the rubber stator with uniform wall thickness. In the conventional system of screw pump for oil production, the rotor is usually made of metal round rod, and the stator is made of rubber material lined with straight barrel shell. The stator is a vulnerable part and inconvenient to remove because it is usually fixed at the lower end of the tubing. When the stator is replaced, the oil pipe must be removed. In order to eliminate this shortcoming, foreign experts have proposed to use screw pump with metal stator and plastic rotor that rotor becomes a vulnerable part. It is more convenient to replace without tripping the oil pipe because it is connected with the sucker rod. High hardness rubber and composite material can be chosen to be its material.
